I think the LEDs on the back are fun and could be usefull. I often put my phone face-down on a table (in case something drops on it) since the screen hovers above the surface due to the silicone case. If it were charging, i could see from a distance, at a glance, how much the phone is charged. Furthermore, i find myself in situations where i need just a little bit more light to take a picture, but the flash is actually too bright or ruins the mood of an image. Plus it sets it apart. Now, i'm not about to pay 50% more for a phone that is not better than my current Xiaomi phone, but i appreciate the effort.

Watch Apple โ€œreinventโ€ it in the next two years and put LEDs in the Pro Models similar to this. Probably make the Apple logo a glowing one

For me, they started with a great option, these specs are really good for most users nowadays who just want a smooth experience and average cameras to use, if they manage to keep increasing the stocks and mainly optimizing the user experience they might become very popular in the next few years.

You can't really complain for how good the phone is for it's price and it's just a begining product for a company, the style can change to a sleeker design and polish the corners, I can't wait to see what this company does in the future, it could be competeable to the phone giants of Apple and Samsung.

Honestly it feels like they've got their priorities straight. Not very interested in a midrange phone but I sincerely hope they become successful enough to get big enough to take on the flagship models.

I really dig the design of this phone! It's great that Nothing didn't focus solely on raw processing power of the phone, yet managed to make something what feels premium without draining your budget! I'm looking for a new phone and boy, do I think about getting this one. It's a shame that in Poland it will be probably hard to get...

The backlight does have mostly useless features, BUT the aesthetics of it are amazing! ๐Ÿคฉ Imagine if they made one that can make the backlight change to different colors! Oh that would send me rushing to get one

Tbh I give them props, they basically did what Steve Jobs loved to say "Good artist copy, Great artist steal" that said Apple relies on Android too much, their screens are made by Samsung. I give Nothing props for its brashness and actually attacking Apple directly. It may not be able to compete with Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, etc but it has its marketing down and it can compete in which android companies low and mid range phones. My guess is they want to reach a level where they show they Android can do iPhone better.

As someone who started seeing this channel before upgrading phone recently to a Motorola Edge 20, I can say that, my phone has the same chipset as this, it has more storage (256 GB version of the moto), it has a better refresh rate (140 hz vs 120 on the nothing), the same OLED screen but a bit brighter even, a much better camera (108 mpx vs 50 on the nothing one) and a equally as bloatware free software with fast charging and IPS water and dust proof certified design. It costed a TON less than this device new. So if you really want the best bang for buck in a midrange...this isn't it. I agree with Mrwhosetheboss when he points out they dont want you to see other androids because clearly its nothing special value wise vs many other options - another of them that blows this phone out of the water is as he showed, the Samsung A52S. This phone feels like a massive gimmick to raise waves

I really respect their effort for software optimization, as an all time android user I think it's one of the most important things apple does, that more android manufacturers should do.

About time a company made phones looking fun again. Reminds me of the early 2000's when many electronics had see through casings especially gaming consoles. I just need one that's a light purple see through casing

Also, the phone looks amazing. Honestly, they could remove the LED "gimmick", have a fingerprint resistant coated back (or the same back) and maybe use a better chip with money saved, and I'd still consider it. It looks cool. Apple have nailed a unique aesthetic, there's little shame in copying it.

"The iPhone killer" thing is just a marketing strategy here and simply answer is No, it doesn't put any threat on any flagship androids or iphones BUT for 400 this phone looks like a great choice. I think people looking for a phone at that budget should definitely consider this and this might be this once in a lifetime phone cuz they were so focused on keeping the price low with as much flagship stuffs in it as possible that they gave us an awesome 400 dollar phone
